Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including scheduling, picking, packing, and dispatching freight.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and commercial invoices.
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve any logistical bottlenecks or delays immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and shipping logs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate delivery estimates to clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
