Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate the timely and accurate preparation, processing, and dispatch of all outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain and update accurate inventory records and shipping logs within our ERP system (SAP/Oracle preferred).
- Liaise effectively with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and delays.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize shipping routes and carriers.
- Ensure all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, is complete and filed correctly.
- Monitor freight costs and negotiate rates with carriers to ensure budget adherence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing operations.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret shipping data and trends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

- Valid driver’s license (Class C) and clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
