Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely delivery and optimal routing.
- Prepare and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and resolve any delays or logistical issues proactively.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for outbound stock and ensure proper packaging standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, warehouse staff, and internal clients to provide timely shipping updates.
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate with freight providers to secure the best rates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required).
- Strong understanding of shipping terms, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with vendors.
- Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate degree in Logistics is a plus.
