Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end shipping processes, including scheduling, tracking, and documentation preparation.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and ensure on-time performance.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and freight costs within our ERP system.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize logistics routes.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper packing and loading procedures are followed.
- Process and verify bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in using transportation management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, HighJump).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime during peak seasons.
