Responsibilities
- Manage End-to-End Shipping Operations: Oversee the full logistics cycle, from order processing to final delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
- Coordinate with Carriers: Liaise with third-party logistics providers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Track and Trace: Monitor shipment status using industry-standard software to resolve delays and provide real-time updates to clients.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound inventory to prevent discrepancies and stock shortages.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery issues promptly.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all shipping documentation meets DOT and legal compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate with vendors and coordinate with internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks in the shipping process and implementing effective solutions.
- Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
