You will oversee the entire shipping lifecycle, ensuring that every package is processed accurately, dispatched on time, and reaches its destination in perfect condition. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end shipping process, including the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of goods to ensure zero errors.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to secure the best rates and ensure timely delivery schedules.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Monitor shipment status in real-time and resolve any logistical issues, delays, or damages immediately.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all inbound and outbound shipments within the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients to provide shipment tracking updates and resolve inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a strong plus.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, or warehousing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and experience with WMS or TMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
