Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate inbound and outbound shipping schedules to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs forms.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively address delays or logistical issues.
- Optimize shipping routes and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities and inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a shipping, logistics, or supply chain coordination role.
- Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding, shipping regulations, and customs procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Logistics or related field is a plus.
