Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.<br></li><li>Verify freight bills, prepare necessary documentation, and resolve billing discrepancies.<br></li><li>Communicate effectively with carriers, internal teams, and customers regarding shipment status and delays.<br></li><li>Maintain accurate records of shipping logs, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.<br></li><li>Monitor carrier performance and negotiate rates where appropriate to ensure cost-efficiency.<br></li><li>Assist in the resolution of shipping issues and complaints in a professional manner.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding.<br></li><li>Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight software is preferred.<br></li><li>Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and shipping compliance standards.<br></li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br></li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).<br></li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.<br></li><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li></ul>
