Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Liaise with carriers, drivers, and warehouse staff to resolve shipping discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor shipping costs and negotiate rates with third-party logistics providers.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal shipping regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
