Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and accurate routing.
- Prepare and verify all shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping schedules, inventory levels, and freight costs.
- Process and reconcile freight bills and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and international trade laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, HighJump, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
