Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading and Commercial Invoices.
- Track shipments in real-time and proactively resolve any delivery delays or issues.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
- Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and inventory logs.
- Assist in negotiating rates with freight carriers when appropriate.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
