Responsibilities
- Prepare and process shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, and packing lists, ensuring all regulatory compliance standards are met.
- Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
- Track shipments in real-time, monitor delivery schedules, and resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company's ERP system and shipping logs.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding shipment status, customs clearance, and delivery expectations.
- Assist in inventory management and stock location verification as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook) and transportation management software.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors in documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
