Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage inventory levels within the shipping department and prepare accurate packing lists.
- Track shipments in real-time and resolve any logistical issues or delays immediately.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to streamline workflows.
- Maintain detailed records of shipping logs and prepare necessary documentation.
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and shipping laws.
- Proficiency in shipping software (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
