Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to and from vehicles by hand or using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Monitor cold storage units to ensure temperatures remain within required safety and preservation guidelines.
- Inspect products for damage or quality issues and report discrepancies to the inventory control team.
- Package and label items accurately to ensure efficient order fulfillment and shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations and housekeeping standards.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a cold environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
