As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of perishable goods in our state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain strict temperature control protocols in freezer and refrigerated zones.
- Inventory Management: Assist in organizing stock and performing regular stock rotation.
- Housekeeping: Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, dry, and free of hazards at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations while operating equipment.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect products for quality and damage before storage.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in extreme cold environments and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a history of punctual attendance.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory checks and the ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus.
