Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload shipments efficiently while strictly adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure the cleanliness and regular maintenance of all equipment and work areas.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize shipping and receiving processes.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (CDL preferred but not always required for standard forklifts).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
