Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by checking stock and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Organize and stack products efficiently to maximize warehouse space and workflow speed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing orders accurately to meet customer deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred) or ability to obtain one.
- Experience: Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach trucks.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license (Class A/B preferred).
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
