Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate counts and documentation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Workspace Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking, packing, and staging orders to meet customer deadlines efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possession of a valid Forklift Operator License (CDL Class A/B not required, but forklift certified is mandatory).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not strictly required for immediate hires.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and workplace regulations.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
