Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Perform routine safety inspections on forklifts and warehouse equipment before each shift.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of safety hazards (clutter, spills).
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to streamline order fulfillment.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Assist in the rotation of stock (FIFO) to ensure product freshness and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable warehouse or logistics experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and walk frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners is preferred.
