Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery (Reach Truck, Counterbalance, etc.) to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure all safety features are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movement into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage to products and equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Certification: Must hold a current, operator-specific certification (OSHA compliant).
- High School Diploma or GED: Basic education required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or industrial setting preferred.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including overtime if necessary.
