Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by organizing stock and tagging items appropriately.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment before each shift.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment preparation.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator License (Must provide documentation).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks requiring stamina.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
