Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Inventory Management: Stock and organize inventory in designated storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Material Handling: Pull, pack, and prepare orders for shipping while adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Documentation: Accurately complete paperwork related to inventory and daily operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center.
- License: Valid Class A or B Driver's License (depending on vehicle requirements).
- Skills: Proficient in reading warehouse orders and using RF scanners.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature environments.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
