Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to safely load and unload shipments from semi-trucks and conveyors.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and perform daily cycle counts.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure operational safety.
- Ensure strict compliance with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily productivity targets.
- Organize and maintain a clean, clutter-free workspace to minimize hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (Forklift License) required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable experience operating Class I or II forklifts.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
