Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
- Stack and organize freight safely, adhering to weight limits and stability guidelines to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and traffic control in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid, unexpired forklift operator certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and inventory tracking.
