Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move pallets and heavy loads.
- Load and unload trucks accurately according to shipping manifests and receiving documents.
- Inspect forklifts before and after shifts to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company policies regarding material handling.
- Perform inventory counts and update stock records as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
