Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, reach, and order picker) to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secure and undamaged.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation logs.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies strictly.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse workflow and order fulfillment speed.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- 1+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills for safety labels and orders.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
