Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is functioning correctly.
- Assist with inventory management, including scanning barcodes and updating stock records.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Class A or B preferred).
- Previous experience operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
