Responsibilities
- Select and Pack: Pick items from inventory shelves according to packing slips and pack them securely for shipment.
- Verify Inventory: Accurately scan items using handheld scanners to ensure stock levels match digital records.
- Maintain Organization: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean and organized to ensure a safe work environment.
- Operate Equipment: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems as required.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards.
- Meet Production Goals: Consistently meet daily targets and quotas to support overall warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, picking, or packing is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform physical labor in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and verify details to minimize errors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to attendance.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
