Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from the warehouse shelves based on digital pick tickets and pack them securely for shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all orders meet quality standards before they leave the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld barcode scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the picking and packing areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience in picking, packing, or inventory is preferred but not always required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a consistent work history.
