Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Maintain real-time inventory tracking and warehouse logistics systems
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and provide proactive client communication
- Collaborate with customs brokers and international partners
- Analyze shipping metrics to identify efficiency improvements
- Ensure compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in shipping coordination or logistics management
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and customs documentation
- Exceptional problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours during peak shipping seasons
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
