Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move, locate, and stack inventory accurately.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently to meet shipping deadlines.
- Conduct daily pre-shift safety inspections of forklift equipment and warehouse aisles.
- Verify and organize stock using handheld scanners and inventory management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including packaging and labeling.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management software.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety (OSHA standards).
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
