Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate rates to minimize costs while ensuring on-time delivery
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS platforms and proactively resolve transit delays
- Collaborate with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to maintain seamless operations
- Manage inventory control and compliance with DOT and international shipping regulations
- Analyze shipping data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in freight coordination or supply chain management
- Proficiency with TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and logistics software
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, LTL/FTL shipping, and customs procedures
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to resolve shipping emergencies
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with carriers, clients, and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
