Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity in cold storage facilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Organize and inventory perishable goods (produce, dairy, frozen foods)
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Perform routine sanitation and equipment maintenance
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in 0-40°F (-18°C) environments
- Valid driver's license (preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs
- Attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work flexible shifts/nights/weekends
