Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets using forklifts and hand trucks.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate stock counts and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system.
- Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and record temperatures to ensure product integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following standard operating procedures.
- Packaging: Properly package and label goods for shipment and storage.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment and move materials efficiently within the cold storage units.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in cold environments.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and safety checks.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history.
- Basic Math: Ability to perform basic calculations for inventory and shipping.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
