Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Select merchandise from the warehouse floor and pack it securely for shipment using packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners and inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and order fulfillment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure that all items meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Safely load outgoing shipments onto trucks and unload incoming inventory onto pallets or shelves.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse floor, packing stations, and aisles clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Operate Equipment: Use pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing items to prevent errors.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to count and measure accurately.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members.
