Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently according to OSHA standards.
- Load, unload, and stack materials onto pallets, shelves, and trailers with precision.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure proper working order.
- Organize warehouse inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure production targets and delivery schedules are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable transportation to the Mesa, Georgia facility.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
