Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy in our inventory management system.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse floor to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous in counting and tracking inventory to minimize errors.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (for experienced candidates) or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
