Job Overview
As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is handled with precision and care. You will be working in a modern facility with state-of-the-art equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks safely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and logs using warehouse management systems.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and accuracy.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Ability to read and understand safety labels and operating manuals.
