Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight onto and off of trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock organization within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other heavy machinery to ensure safety compliance.
- Move pallets and materials to designated storage areas efficiently.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of goods for shipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to read and understand safety instructions and operational manuals.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
