Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to/from shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels by accurately scanning and stocking products.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing proper PPE and following traffic patterns in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment, including palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- License: Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred).
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, safety guidelines, and shipping documents.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
