Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control by accurately counting and tagging stock.
- Material Preparation: Prepare pallets for shipping, ensuring proper wrapping and labeling.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be present).
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand safety instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including potential overtime.
