As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is moved safely and accurately. If you have a forklift certification and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks) to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy of inventory counts.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets efficiently.
- Follow all traffic and safety protocols when operating heavy machinery.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory management.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
