Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move goods within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and document stock movements accurately.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipping schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not always required for top candidates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Valid Driver's License (if required for warehouse driving).
