Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move, load, and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and easy access.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment using handheld scanners.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues to management immediately.
- Cargo Handling: Secure cargo during transport and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- No Experience Needed: Candidates with no prior forklift experience are welcome; we provide certification training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory counts and order fulfillment.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required for entry-level operators.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Communication: Basic English skills required to follow safety instructions and communicate with the team.
- OSHA Awareness: Willingness to learn and adhere to all workplace safety standards.
