Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck, Order Picker) to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment daily to ensure they are in safe working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in the warehouse and on the equipment.
- Verify shipment contents against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Forklift License) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging work hours and inventory checks.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if needed.
