Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Equipment: Drive sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock replenishment, and organize pallets to maximize storage efficiency.
- Load & Unload Freight: Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring cargo is secured and documentation is accurate.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies, including proper PPE usage and daily equipment inspections.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Schedule: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) consistently.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License required.
