Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in strict adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks, railcars, and pallets efficiently to maintain workflow.
- Inventory Management: Verify and count stock items to ensure accuracy in our inventory system.
- Palletizing: Stack and arrange products on pallets to ensure stability and prevent damage.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Overtime Support: Be available for overtime shifts to meet peak seasonal and operational demands.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- License: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) preferred; we can train entry-level candidates.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy when handling inventory.
- Communication: Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety signs.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
