Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, and move freight, materials, and products within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking products against shipping manifests.
- Assist in the organization of stock and storage areas.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (OSHA preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
