Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders for shipping using handheld scanners and RF equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems (training available).
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and organizing inventory in designated zones.
- Trucking Operations: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and warehouse policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect goods for damage or defects before processing orders.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
- Reliability: Must have a consistent work history and a valid driver's license.
