Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials.
- Ensure all goods are stored in the correct locations and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipping.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant) is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math and computer literacy skills for inventory tracking.
